Day 486 – 488
Just a few days in the capital of the country. It is the biggest city in Chile of course with something like 40% of the population living there. So yes, it is very big.
To be honest, the city itself is nothing special. Nothing very pretty. I think that also because, in my opinion, south American cities are not the best things.
What’s interesting today is in which social context Chile is right now. The country is in a middle of a social crisis, with many manifestations around the country. And in the capital, you can see the marks of these manifestations.
One small thing aside: we went to visit the cemetery of Santiago, because we heard it was special. We were not disappointed.
